OPINION

WEISBERGER, Justice.

The defendant, Anthony Souza, after jury trial, was found guilty on one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, five counts of robbery, one count of assault with intent to rob, one count of assault with intent to murder a police officer, and one count of possession of a stolen auto. On the robbery counts, the defendant was sentenced to a term of imprisonment for life on each count.
