This is an application for a writ of mandamus to compel the respondent to cancel a certain tax deed for the taxes of 1893. The relator claims to be the. owner of an undivided one-half of lot 1, being a part of the northwest fractional quarter, of section 29, township 8 north, of range 16 west, by virtue of the provisions of a will made by Luman Jenison, who, she claims, was the owner of the original title.
