This appeal arises from a civil action in tort based on a two car collision in which plaintiff, David Cryts, suffered paraplegia. The jury returned a verdict in the amount of $150,000, and the judgment was entered against defendants Ford Motor Company (Ford), the manufacturer of the car plaintiff was driving, and Robert Uttendorfer, the driver of the car with which he collided.
