Defendant, Donald Lee Kittrell, appeals a judgment entered upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of murder in the first degree (felony murder) and murder in the second degree. We affirm in part, and remand with directions.

Defendant was charged by information with first degree murder (after deliberation) pursuant to § 18-3-102(l)(a), C.R.S. (1986 Repl.Vol. 8B) and first degree murder (felony murder) pursuant to § 18-3-102(l)(b), C.R.S. (1986 Repl.Vol. 8B) for the 1986 multiple stabbing death of a man.
