Plaintiff-appellee Annie Hester prevailed in a jury trial on her claims that her employer, BIC Corporation (“BIC”), discriminated against her on the basis of race and retaliated against her in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, and 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
