The plaintiff, who is a resident of the city of Hornellsville, in the county of Steuben, brings this action as a taxpayer, under section 1925 of the Code of Civil Procedure, to restrain the county treasurer of said county from paying to the eight towns named herein as defendants certain sums of money, amounting in the aggregate to $14,201.51, which sum has been raised by assessment upon the taxable property of the county to reimburse said towns for moneys advanced for the construction and repair of bridges during the years 1893 and 1894.
