MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

WESLEY E. BROWN, District Judge.

This action has been brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) for judicial review of a final action of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare denying two claims for benefits under the Social Security Act.

Plaintiff filed an application under 42 U.S.C. § 423 for disability insurance benefits on February 8,1978. On the same day, plaintiff also filed an application for supplemental security income benefits based upon disability under 42 U.S.C. § 1381 et seq. His claims were denied.
