PONDER, Justice.
This case comes to us. on the writs of certiorari and habeas corpus.
The defendant, Etta Longshaw, was charged under a bill of information in the Parish of Franklin with manslaughter, on October 22, 1937. The record shows that the defendant pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to the State Penitentiary for a period of not less than three years or more than nine years. In the judgment and sentence the defendant was adjudged to be eighteen years of age.
