Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant, Phabian Pryor, was convicted of aggravated vehicular hijacking (720 ILCS 5/18—4(a)(4) (West 2002)) and vehicular hijacking (720 ILCS 5/18—3(a) (West 2002)). The trial court sentenced defendant to two concurrent prison terms of nine years.
