This matter is before us on a request for a certification of the law from the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Kentucky.

The case is a products liability/negligence action which stems from a single vehicular accident that occurred in Bath County, Kentucky, when a 1990 Cadillac Seville left Interstate 64 and subsequently caught fire and burned.
