McNEILLY, Justice:
The defendant, William A. Fensterer, was convicted by a jury of murdering his fiancee, Stephanie Ann Swift. On appeal, this Court reversed the defendant’s conviction, holding that he had been denied his Sixth Amendment right to confront the witnesses against him when a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation was unable to state the basis of his opinion, admitted into evidence, that a hair on the alleged murder weapon had been forcibly removed from the victim’s head.
