The petitioners, the Governor and the Attorney General of the State of Colorado, 1 initiated this original proceeding pursuant to C.A.R. 21 to obtain a -writ of prohibition against the El Paso County District Court. The petitioners request this court to prohibit the trial court from exercising jurisdiction over this civil action initiated by the respondent, the Fountain Sanitation District (the district). Having issued a rule to show cause why the relief requested should not be granted, we make the rule absolute.
