This is an appeal from orders entered in an action to modify the residential provisions of the parties’ parenting plan. The basis of the motion to modify was the mother’s proposed move, with the children, outside the area where the father resides. We are asked to clarify the standard to be applied in such an action and, specifically, are asked to decide: (1) whether the “minor” modification statute, RCW 26.09.260(5), applies to a move that disrupts the frequency of contact between a child and the left-behind parent; (2) whether this court’s decision in In re Marriage of Littlefield, 133 Wn.2d…
