This is an appeal from an award of the Industrial Board granting appellee compensation as the dependent widow of Frank Zapala.

Proper application having been filed, the cause was submitted to a single member of the board for trial on January 5, 1937. It was stipulated in evidence that Frank Zapala received an accidental injury on August 21, 1936, in the course of his employment by appellant; that he died on August 27, 1936; that as a result of said injury he ‘.‘sustained a loss by amputation of not more than one phalanx of the left thumb.” All other facts necessary to sustain the award were…
