Thompson, Justice.
Defendant Johnny Franklin Lee was convicted of malice murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the death of Charles Watford. He appeals, asserting he was denied his right to effective assistance of counsel. We find no error and affirm.
Construing the evidence in a light favorable to the verdict, we find the following:
