The defendant was the owner of a parcel of land in Detroit, which had a frontage of approximately 150 feet on Ferry Park and a depth of about 137 feet. The front of the lot was covered by a 10-family, 2-story cement block flat building, and a 2-family flat. These buildings extend from the front toward the rear approximately 50 feet. About 25 feet south of the rear wall of the flats was a board fence about four feet in height which separated the *192flats from an open space in the rear.
