Upon a suit filed by him in the district court of Collin county, Tex., on January 12, 1921, appellee, T. F. Justice, recovered judgment for principal, interest, and attorney fees upon a note in the principal sum of $8,980 against the Sunlite Co., Manufacturers, as principal, F. S. Lauhach, (5. F. Brannon, and E. W. Kirkpatrick, jointly and severally as indorsers, and against M. P. Dewar in his capacity as receiver of the said Sunlite Co., Manufacturers. Appeal was duly perfected to this court by G. F. Brannon and E. W. Kirkpatrick, who are the appellants in this case. The judgment was secured…
