The defendant, an Illinois corporation, was engaged in the construction of two large buildings in Cedar Eapids and had in its employment many workmen. At the time in question, only the foundations of these buildings had been constructed. These were about eighty feet apart and between them stood a small wooden structure with gable roof fifteen or twenty feet high at the eaves and thirty-eight feet at the comb.
