United States v. Bradley Cornelsen
Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
MELLOY, Circuit Judge.
A jury convicted Bradley Cornelsen of five counts of wire fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1343 . The district court 1 sentenced Cornelsen to 48 months' imprisonment and 3 years' supervised release and ordered him to pay $1,400,320.09 in restitution. Cornelsen challenges the district court's calculation of the loss amount and the restitution award. We affirm, except as to the restitution award where we reverse in part and remand for further consideration in light of Lagos v. United States , --- U.S. ----, 138 S.Ct. 1684 , --- L.Ed.2d ---- (May 29, 2018).
