The Appellants, Rebecca J. Labat, individually and on behalf of her minor children, Megan Scott and Tiffany Scott, appeal the district court’s judgment dismissing their demands against the Appel-lee, Mallard Bay Drilling, Inc. This case is a wrongful death survival action arising out of the death of Robert Labat, a Jones Act seaman. The district court found that Mallard Bay Drilling, Inc. was not responsible for causing or worsening Mr. Labat’s condition and that Mallard Bay Drilling, Inc. did not unfairly or improperly withhold or fail to provide proper maintenance…
