This is an insurance case involving the tort of bad faith. Appellant, Ellen Richison, executrix of the estate of Stanley Richison, deceased, sued appellees, Boatmen’s Bank of Arkansas, Inc. (Boatmen’s Bank) and Consumer’s Protective Life Insurance Company (Consumer’s) for breach of contract and bad faith for denying payment of a $2500 credit life insurance policy issued to her late husband.
