In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., plaintiffs appeal from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County, entered April 29, 1974, as was in favor of the respondent City of New York, upon a jury verdict. Judgment reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, and, as between plaintiffs and respondent, action severed and new trial granted, with costs to abide the event.
