This action was brought by plaintiff to obtain a declaratory judgment and the appeal presents questions springing from a clause in a lease of property in New York city providing for a renewal or extension of the original term. Some of the questions arise between the plaintiffs and defendants; others between the two defendants and in connection with the latter there is the additional question whether under the pleadings and proceedings upon the trial one defendant was entitled to the judgment which has been awarded to it against its co-defendant.
