This case came before the Supreme Court on November 9,-2000, pursuant to an order directing the respondent-mother to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided. The respondent mother, Suzette (the mother), has appealed from a Family Court decree terminating her parental rights to two of her children, Maya, born December 8,1994, and Maleeka, born November 7, 1995. 1 After hearing the arguments of counsel and considering the memoranda submitted by the parties, we are of the opinion that cause has not been shown.
