The county jail in Osceola is located on the corner of the square in the business section of the town. It is a one-story building about 20 by 24 feet, constructed of cement with iron doors and iron bars on the outside of the windows. The windows are a little over six feet from the floor but they can be raised from the inside, and beneath at least some of the windows there are bunks. The building is approximately two feet from the sidewalk with an eight-foot iron fence between the jail and the sidewalk.
