Merrick Redding was tried by a Muscogee County jury and convicted of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Joseph Davis.1 Redding appeals, asserting that the evidence is legally insufficient to sustain his convictions, that he was denied his constitutional right to a speedy trial, and that certain evidence was admitted erroneously at trial.
