RULING ON DEFENDANTS’ MOTIONS TO SUPPRESS STATEMENTS MADE IN POLICE CARS

One day last April, law enforcement agents in this case arrested the seven defendants at a parking lot in Stamford, Connecticut on federal robbery and drug trafficking conspiracy charges. Immediately following the arrests, each of the defendants was promptly secured in the back seats of three unmarked police cars that were on the scene.
