| tThis case involves the application of the new medical treatment guidelines for a workers’ compensation claim. The claim is for back surgery for a disabled, middle-aged plaintiff -with degenerative disc disease. Plaintiff, who worked in the air conditioner repair business, was injured on the job upon falling from a ladder.
