Cross appeals from an order of the Family Court of Tioga County (Argetsinger, J.), entered April 5, 1999, which, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 6, ordered, inter alia, that the parties share joint custody of their children.
The parties’ 12-year marriage ended in divorce in 1995. Custody of the three children of the marriage, born in 1985, 1987 and 1994, was awarded to petitioner pursuant to a 1996 Family Court order based upon the stipulation of the parties which granted respondent visitation every weekend and temporary physical custody if petitioner was ever hospitalized…
