These are cross appeals from a judgment of the Court of Claims. An award was made to claimants in consequence of the appropriation of a portion of their property for the construction of a State highway along the shore of Irondequoit Bay. The chief question presented is whether loss of view was correctly held compensable. Prior to the appropriation, claimants’ lot extended to the shore line of the bay.
