This suit arose out of a collision between a car driven by respondent, Blake, and an automobile driven by one Sammons. Mrs. Rogers, petitioner, and her husband, and Mrs. Blake were all in the Blake car. Mr. Rogers was killed, and Mrs. Rogers seriously injured as a result of the collision. Blake failed to stop at a “stop” sign prior to entering Alabama Street from Richmond Street in the City of El Paso, Texas.
