| iDefendant, Juan Rodriguez Garcia, was convicted at a bench trial of aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, and armed robbery. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence for the convictions of aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping and 60 years at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence for the armed robbery conviction; the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
