Joshua Perkins ("Perkins") appeals the denial of his Rule 24.035 motion following an evidentiary hearing. Perkins argues that the motion court clearly erred in failing to conduct an abandonment inquiry after appointed counsel filed a statement in lieu of an amended motion, and in denying a claim in his pro se amended motion that his guilty plea was involuntary because he was not advised of the range of punishment.
