OPINION

KAPLAN, District Judge.

Plaintiff Harold Liebowitz, former Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at George Washington University, conceived of a scientific journal and persuaded the late media tycoon, Robert Maxwell, who then owned Pergamon Press, to back the idea. Publication began. Over the years, Liebowitz’s ideas spawned a number of highly successful journals, all published by Pergamon under Liebowitz’s direct or indirect editorship.
