|tOn September 17, 2008, the defendant, James Johnson, was charged with the attempted first-degree murder of Lynard Stewart. He entered a plea of not guilty. Defense counsel filed motions to suppress the evidence, statement, identification and for a preliminary hearing. On November 7, 2008, the trial court denied the motion to suppress the evidence and found probable cause to hold the defendant for trial.
