THOMAS, District Judge.
This action was filed June 1, 1956, by Ruby Pearl Langley, seeking to recover the sum of $10,000, face amount of insurance under a National Service Life Insurance Certificate, effective April 1, 1944, upon the life of her brother, Paul W. Meece. The certificate was issued and took effect while the said Paul W. Meece, now deceased, was a soldier in the United States Army, in World War II.
