Leonard Townsend, Jr., appeals following a jury trial in which he was convicted of murder, a felony, attempted murder, a Class A felony, and battery, a Class C felony.1 Townsend raises two issues, which we restate as: (1) whether the trial court properly declined to find Townsend’s criminal history to be a mitigating factor; and (2) whether the trial court properly ordered that Townsend’s sentences be served consecutively.
