|2Karlton Kirksey and Kirksey Enterprises, Inc. (KEI) appeal a judgment rendered in solido against them and in favor of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, Inc. (the Foundation). Because of our legal review of the contracts involved in this matter, we reverse the trial court’s judgment insofar as it condemned Mr. Kirksey personally to pay any amount and we amend the judgment to reduce the amount from $69,902 to $50,902 due by KEI to the Foundation. Our reasons are explained in detail below.
