This case is before us on motion for rehearing. After a careful consideration of the motion I have decided to withdraw my original dissenting opinion and substitute therefor the following:

This case squarely presents the question whether respondents are entitled to receive 30 1/2 leagues of land from the State, although the record shows that the surveyor's field notes regarding this land specified definitely 11.15 leagues; that the Ballis paid for only 11.15 leagues; that those who held under the Balli claim asked the State to confirm 11 1/2 leagues; and that the State in order to carry out…
