J. H. (Jim) Webb, plaintiff in error, here designated the defendant, was by information bearing date of March 24, 1921, charged with maintaining a nuisance at 918 North Broadway, Oklahoma City, by keeping a place where intoxicating liquors were bartered, sold, and given away, and where persons were permitted to congregate for the purpose of buying and drinking liquor. At the trial, September 15, 1921, by verdict of a jury, he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and to serve a term of 30 days in the county jail.
