St. John’s Greek Catholic Church of Detroit, Michigan, an ecclesiastical corporation consecrated to religious purposes, defendant herein, has been engaged in litigation during a continuous period of 10 years. A brief reference to some of the litigation is necessary. The chief causes of the factionalism and schism within the church are fully set forth in the cases of Komarynski v.
