When struck by defendants’ truck, plaintiff was on the concrete driveway, which was also the sidewalk, between the curb and the Nash-Flodin Fruit Company building, on the west side of First Street in Cedar Bapids. First Street runs north and south, is 100 feet in width between property lines and 60 feet between curbs, and has 20-foot sidewalks on either side. The Nash-Flodin Fruit Company building, on the west side of the street, has two vehicular and one individual entrances. South of this building is a fire station.
