This is an application by Jack Hilpold to the Supreme Court for a writ of habeas corpus, directed to the Sheriff of Waller County, alleging relator’s illegal confinement and restraint of his liberty under an order of the Judge of the Special District Court of the 9th Judicial District adjudging him in contempt of court and directing that he be confined in the county jail of Waller County for the term of Sixty days and such term thereafter as he may refuse or fail to pay all costs of that proceeding, to the…
