In this case the Vanderpoel Company sued E. S. Hotchkiss, one of the appellants, in the Circuit Court, commencing the suit by attachment and alleging in the affidavit for the attachment made by its agent that Hotchkiss was indebted to said company, a corporation, in the sum of $670.81, for merchandise sold and delivered by said company to Hotchkiss and for work done and labor performed on certain machinery by said company for Hotchkiss, and that affiant had good grounds to believe and did believe that said Hotchkiss had within two years fraudulently conveyed or assigned his effects, or a part…
