This case involves the propriety .of a probation-revocation hearing. The petitioner, the State of Alabama, filed in the DeKalb Circuit Court (“the trial court”) a petition to revoke the probation of Carless Ledon Wagner based on allegations that Wagner, on March 19, 2014, violated two conditions of his probation. On March 29, 2014, the trial court held a probation-revocation hearing; at the end of the hearing, the trial court revoked Wagner’s probation and “order[ed] [Wagner] to serve .the remainder of [his] sentence in the custody of the Department of Corrections.” Wagner…
