The Commonwealth appeals from a Boston Municipal Court judge’s order dismissing a criminal complaint *273against the defendant.1 The complaint charged the defendant with distribution of marihuana in a school zone, in violation of G. L. c. 94C, §§ 32C and 32J (1994 ed.). On the defendant’s motion, the judge ordered the Commonwealth to disclose the location of the surveillance post from which the police observed the criminal activity.
