for the Court.
The defendant, James S. Richardson, appeals to this Court after he was convicted by a jury of first-degree murder and burglary. After the jury returned its verdict, the trial justice sentenced the defendant to a prison term of life without the possibility of parole. Before us, the defendant argues that his conviction should be vacated because the trial justice impermis-sibly allowed an expert witness called by the state to bolster the testimony of another of the state’s expert witnesses.
