FRIEDMAN, Judge.
Petitioners, the Republican members of the Pennsylvania Senate, filed a Petition for Review in our original jurisdiction challenging the actions of Respondents, Lieutenant Governor Mark E. Singel, the Democratic members of the Senate and the Senate itself, which resulted in the seating of William Stinson as a Senator for the 2nd Senatorial District. The Petitioners have also filed an Application for Summary Relief or in the Alternative for an Expedited Decision on the Merits.
