This case arose from an automobile collision which occurred August 23, 1961, in the uncontrolled intersection of East and Clinton Streets in Lathrop, Missouri. East Street is a north and south street 26 feet wide, sloping downhill northwardly prior to, at, and beyond the intersection; Clinton Street is an east and west street 34 feet wide, sloping uphill westwardly prior to, at, and beyond the intersection.
