This cause was commenced by the filing of an affidavit in the county court -of Washita county, Okla., by Alice Dobbs, as prosecuting witness, against Kermit Jones, as defendant, charging him with being the father of .her bastard child. The action was brought in the name of the state of Oklahoma, as provided by law. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the court below.
